Please keep two young boys lifted in your prayers. Elmer (pictured in the red and blue shirt below) is on of our Happy Tummies children and his brother, Maynor. Last year their father died and last night, their mom died. They have lost both parents within a year. This was posted on Impacto's Facebook page but we wanted to ask everyone who doesn't have Facebook to keep these precious boys lifted to our Lord.
They need funds to cover funeral costs (casket, cemetery plot). Impacto is going to cover the costs because the family has no money. This family is one of the poorest in San Juan. If you would like to help, you may do so either by making an online donation via www.impactoministry.com and designate: Elmer; or you may send a check made out to Impacto, with Elmer written on memo line, to: Impacto Ministry, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646.
If there is more money donated than needed to cover funeral costs, Impacto will provide food staples, clothes and other necessities for Elmer and his brother Maynor. Most of all, please keep these two boys lifted in your prayers. They are hurting very deeply right now and very worried about what is going to happen to them.
