I have a verse for you...
Psalm 90:1-2 "Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God."
Please remember that the same God who is everlasting and made the mountains is the same God whom will get you through any problem, not matter how big or everlasting it might seem. |

Abuelitas has been a fast growing ministry. These ladies are really enjoying each other's company and the company of those who come to visit. God has been wonderful and has provided a bigger piece of land for this ministry. There we hope to have special facilities that they need, such as a therapy room, craft room, also we want to have a garden where they can plant and maybe even some animals. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. We know that there has been no better way of showing God's love to these women than the time that has been spent with them both learning from them and teaching them new things. |

We are very excited to announce that our Happy Tummies in Panyebar is well on its way. Satan always tries to put a stop to things done in God's name and in this case we seem to have hit a bump with the roof. The cost of the roof is way more than what was in our initial budget. However, by faith, we are going forward and the roof will start going up in 15 days. We hope that two months from today we will be having our grand opening of Happy Tummies Panyebar. Please pray with us that this will be possible. Also, if you are being led to to give towards the roof we would be very grateful. You may give online at www.impactoministry.com , or you may send a check made out to Impacto, to Impacto, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646 and designate on the memo line Happy Tummies Panyebar. |

| This is one of our Happy Tummies families. There are 7 kids total and two of them, Walfred and Juan Carlos, attend Happy Tummies. This family really is a case of extreme poverty. The father lives with them but has no real sense of responsibility. Sometimes he works sometimes he doesn't. For this reason the oldest son, Diego, has taken on the responsibility of providing for the family; he is only 17. He makes sure all the kids go to church every week and that there is food on the table. A few weeks ago, Diego, had an accident while tending his small flower garden and a splinter flew into his eye. The damage was so bad that the health center here in San Juan wouldn't take him and sent him to a hospital across the lake. There he had surgery and the splinter removed, though the doctor said he would need more surgeries. They came home because they didn't have the money to pay for the surgeries. To pay for the first surgery, Maria, the mom, had to sell her dresser. Now they don't have a place to store their clothes. Of course, at that time Impacto had no idea what was happening. A week ago we had home visits and that is when we found out all they had been going through. We were able to to contact a doctor in Guatemala City who is willing to work with us to get this young man the help he needs. The doctor thinks Diego might need a lens put in but is not yet sure. The doctor did say that he will definitely need surgery and of course after care, medicines, and transportation to and from the city for all check ups, both pre- and post-surgery. For this we are asking that you join us in raising the funds needed for this young man. His whole family depends on him and they are all suffering for what Diego is going through. Right now the doctor estimates a total cost of $3,000 this of course includes everything mentioned above. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers, and if you would like to partner with us to help them get through this we would really appreciate it. If you donate through our PayPal account please e-mail Sarah Poythress to let her know that your donation is for Diego's family. Thanks again!
