"Please Pass it On"
Judges 2:10b "another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel."
What shame should fall over these ancestors, they did not know how to 'pass it on.' This generation never knew about God and what he did for Israel in the desert; they never knew about the crossing of the red sea, and the fact that he gave them bread, water, meat, light and protection there. God asks that we be the kind of ancestors who 'pass it on' in Deutoronomy 6:6-9 - "These commandments that I give you today are to be in your hearts. Pass them on to your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you ge up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates."
I challenge you to not be shameful ancestors, please pass it on to your children, your grandchildren, and future generations. I assure you that your future generations will be better if you would please just
PASS IT ON!

Happy fall to all! Wow! This year has really flown by, we cannot believe it is fall already. This month we were blessed to serve alongside one medical plus one medical and dental team. One of them being from St. James United Methodist Church in Arkansas and the other from LIFEpoint Church in Maryland. The St. James team held clinics for 6 days as well as built a house in San Pedro. Many people were able to receive medicine, some people who were there had serious blood pressure and sugar issues and really needed medicine; a lot of them shared how they had taken the medicine 1 year ago when this same team was in their town but once they had finished it they didn't have money to buy more. It truly is heart breaking to see these people's faces as they tell you this, some even were just in awe of how their pain was managed by ibuprofen! it really is crazy how we take these things for granted. The team from LIFEpoint is currently serving in Zacapa, a very needy area of our country. We know the Lord will use them for His will and glory and we will have more on this upcoming week in next month's e-letter. As well as hosting teams our staff has been hard at work. Below are a few of the ministries we've been focusing on this month. Thank you to all of you who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers.

2014 Pastor's Congress
Our staff has been very busy getting things ready for this event. We will be hosting around 120 pastors and leaders from churches all around the country. This will be our third year holding this Congress. The speakers for this congress will come from the States, and one from Argentina. We will hold seminars for women and men separately and then meet together in the evening for a rally. This is a ministry that is very dear to our hearts because it is our chance to give back to our leaders. We know that many times as leaders they give and give and sometimes they don't have their own cups filled. This is our chance to do just that. The pastors are provided with 3 meals, rooming and material. We will be hosting them at the Promised Land and in hotels. What Impacto is charging these pastors by no means comes close to what the expenses are, we just really wanted to put a price that would be accessible to every pastor. If God lays it on your heart to give towards this ministry, Impacto could really use your financial help, we have faith in God and we know He will provide as He always has. Any donations can be sent to the Impacto office or through PayPal. We ask that you keep this event in your prayers so that many pastors will leave this place feeling rejuvenated and ready to go back and fight the good fight.

| Sewing Ministry
Impacto is hosting a dear friend, Denise, who is a professional seamstress. She is here working for two weeks with the sewing ministry. She is really helping the women with some great projects. They have made bowl covers and learned how to sew using elastic, they made a child's dress, and a skirt that is made and you have to pull on some of the thread to make gathers in the 3 layers. This week she has joined us in Zacapa and next week she will be working again at the lake with the sewing ladies. Their graduation will be Oct. 8 and they couldn't be more excited! Denise has been able to show them a lot about their machines, tell them how to take care of their machines and shown them many new things about sewing. Thank you to all who have prayed for this ministry and given time, material and financial support.

Pharmacy
The pharmacy in Happy Tummies has really become a blessing to our community. We are able to supply many people, not just our Happy Tummies families, with medicines and treatments that they are not able to afford. We have a couple nebulizers that have been a huge blessing to many, many people. At the health centers they ask many people to get nebulized, but they don't count with nebulizers of the clinic; the only choices these people have is to buy their own nebulizer or head to the hospital across the lake to get nebulized. Most of the patients can't really afford either one so when they come to us for help and we are able to lend them a nebulizer and provide them with the meds to put in there; they are overjoyed! We know many of you have brought medicine with you when you are here, and every single medicine has been used to help those in need. We are always in need of all kinds of medicine, over the counter things like ibuprofen, acetaminophen, anti-acids, cough syrup, cough drops are all very useful. Of course also antibiotics and many other medicines can be used as well. We also try to donate to the local health centers as often as we can. This has become a very useful and giving ministry and it is a chance to let people know about God's healing love and how much better it is than any kind of medicine we can provide.
