Greetings from Guatemala!
This week GP Area Director Jarvis Ferguson called to tell us that our funding support has dropped. We would like to ask you to consider renewing your commitment and, if possible, to increase the amount of your contribution. For your convenience, to set up online giving,
visit http://www.wesleyan.org/gp/msupport/missionaries and click on the GIVE button next to our names. It is possible to make a one-time or a recurring donation. You will be sent an automatic receipt for tax purposes.
As mentioned in our last letter, Global Partners is encouraging us to visit our supporting churches and we have several on the calendar already for next year. If you would allow us to come visit with your church, we would be honored. It would provide an opportunity for us to share what God is doing in Guatemala. If you know of another church or individual looking for a missionary to support please feel free to pass along my contact information. I would be very happy to try to help any church set up a mission program if they do not have one in place and of course we would welcome short-term teams to come minister with us. Please contact me ([email removed]) to arrange dates, or my secretary, Sarah Poythress ([email protected]).
We recently celebrated with our Abuletios (Little Grandparents) the one-year anniversary of that ministry. What a blessing to see how much healthier and happier these elderly folks are now than they were one year ago. I gave an altar call during our celebration and five beautiful elderly ladies gave their hearts to Christ! God has really blessed this ministry and we give Him all the glory and praise.
You are a major part of our ministry and you have a part in winning every soul for eternity and in every life that is changed. We appreciate your support. God has been good to us through you. Thank you for your continued support and for your prayers. We pray that God blesses you for your compassion and your sacrifice as you support our efforts to serve Him.
May you and your family enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season!
In the love of Christ,
Luis & Dinora
