IMPACTO MINISTRY
November 2015
As November comes to an end we could not be more grateful for what the Lord has done this month. The first week of November we were able to take 8 youth from San Juan and San Pedro to minister with us in Coban! It was wonderful to see these young adults minister to children with the same kind of joy and compassion they were once ministered to through VBS led by Impacto. The second week we were able to host VBS in the lake area and had great teams from IL and NY join us. It was such an awesome time with churches holding their own VBS and we were able to support them with crafts, music, fun games, and most importantly lots and lots of love and affection for the children! The third week was spent in Zacapa, with one of the largest VBS' held there. A combined team from ME and OH came to minister with us and they also built two houses. The first day there were around 300 children and 50 moms and the last day there were over 500 participants!

We are very thankful to God for His protection of all missionaries who were here this month and also give thanks to Him for allowing us to serve Him and be a part of His ministry! We are speechless as we look back on each VBS held and think of how many children gave their hearts to Him and the seeds that were planted. Our gratitude is to each of you as well. Many of you have given your time through prayer, fundraisers, serving here in Guatemala on teams and financial support. We give thanks to the Lord for each of you and every sacrifice you have made. Know that we think of you and pray for you often and ask God's protection over you and your loved ones.

This month we also began the work on refurbishing the house! Many of you helped us to purchase the house and many of you prayed for God to provide the funding. Please pray with us that God will provide for the new roof and other supplies needed to complete the remodeling. God bless you and we thank each of you.

With Thanks,

" The Reasons for The Season"

During this season it's very common to hear the phrase, "the reason for the season" but I want to share two reasons for this season with you. First, He came to seek what was lost Luke 19:10 says, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." A few years ago I was preaching a crusade in San Jose Costa Rica and after my message a woman came to me asking for advice. She told me that she was tired of her life, tired of her bad habits of drugs, alcohol and infidelity. She said "I am here because I am looking for God." I told her, "Ma'am, you are in the wrong place. He is not lost you are lost and He is looking for you." This is what the Bible says, "He came to seek and to save the lost" and we are the ones who are lost.

The second reason for this season is that He came to save us from eternal condem-nation. Matthew 1:21 says, "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." As the lady in Costa Rica, who told me that she was looking for Jesus, there are many people looking for Him. The truth is that He is not lost; He is looking for you. This Christmas season, He has already given us His "wish list." The Bible says, "My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways" Proverbs 23:26.

I will end with this: I would like to you to consider giving Jesus the very best gift possible -- your heart.
