These verses ring true to January 2016. Our plans to start out this year were big -- His plans were massive! There is no doubt that He deserves the glory and that
He has done 'immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.' A few days after celebrating the New Year we were blessed to host a team from GracePoint Church in South Dakota. The team made house visits to 17 families in Panyebar; these are the first families for our new Happy Tummies. They also began construction on the new library/learning center at the Happy Tummies in San Juan and, of course, spent time showing God's love to our Abuelitos and kids.
 
January was also spent putting the finishing touches on our new Happy Tummies site in Panyebar. February 1 will be the first day. We will hold a dedication service that same day and bring this new ministry to the feet of Jesus. As many of you know our priority is to bring these children to Christ and to help them know Him on a more personal level. This month we also were blessed with the opportunity to begin ministering to our middle schoolers. After 6th grade children start going to school in the afternoon. Last year we 'lost' three of our HT kids to afternoon school. After praying about it we decided to take a leap of faith and attend to them in the morning. So, every day they come in at around 9 a.m. or so and we give them something light to eat, a nutritious drink, or fruit, or PB&J. Afterwards, they work on their homework and projects, the teachers are able to help them while also being with the Abuelitos. At noon they get their lunch, which is the same as the lunch served for the afternoon kids. But the most important thing is that 20 minutes before lunch they have a devotional. Something appropriate to their age and a time prayer. Our hope and prayer is that we can get the Abuelitos place built in order to use Happy Tummies facilities just for the children. This way we can disciple them all the way through college! 

Please continue to pray and partner with us so that we may be able to keep working for the Kingdom.

Many times we, as individuals, and also our churches
try to find ways to glorify our Father. It's not just jumping around and making a 'show' out of worship or giving a huge offering. When we bear much fruit we are not only glorifying our Father but we are motivating non-believers to glorify Him as well.

In the book of Daniel there's a young man who bore much fruit with his life. Through circumstances that just about forced him to be disobedient, he remained faithful to God. In Daniel 3:28-4:3 we see an evil, malicious king blessing the name of the Lord. "Then Nebuchadnezzar said, 'Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him, defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of  Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.' Then the 
king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
King Nebuchadnezzar, to the nations and peoples of every language, who live in all the earth" May you prosper greatly! It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Mosh High God has performed for me. How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation." I want to motivate and challenge you to make the resolution this new year to bear much fruit.

Update...
Many of you know Karen, this is the young girl who needs a prosthesis for her leg. We have the funds 
 to help, praise God! Before getting her prosthesis
she had to have a surgery on her leg in order for the prosthesis to fit correctly. However, due to a few setbacks such as her health and the passing away of
her younger brother, the surgery kept getting postponed. This surgery was free of charge for her,
the funds she needs are for her prosthesis. This is a picture she sent us after her surgery, we hope within the next few months she will be provided with her prosthesis. Please pray that no infection sets in and
the bone heals properly. She is at home but is not 
allowed to attend school this year because of all the
doctor visits and fittings she faces. Thank you again to all those who prayed and sent funds for this sweet young lady.
