Many of you have heard of the public school in Panyebar where we will be starting a Happy Tummies site. Though we are using the school building the cistern needs to be made and the kitchen needs to be redone. In the kitchen, there are no countertops, cupboards, or appliances. The water seeps in and, to put it in laymen's terms, the kitchen is a mess. We are, praise God, starting on the water cistern within the next few days. 

This ministry is not fully funded, yet we hope and pray that in 2017 for the new school year we will be feeding 180+ children daily. However, God put in our hearts to start something now. But, feeding this many children doesn't happen overnight. After much consideration and prayer we, the Impacto staff, have decided to start feeding the children a nutritious drink and bread with peanut butter twice a week. On these days the children also will be told a Bible Story! Though we are eager to feed the children a whole meal daily we know that easing in with a snack a few times a week will really help our staff, the teachers, children, and supervisors acclimate to this new ministry. If you have a team joining us this summer and want to sponsor this snack the day your team visits the school, it would be a great blessing.

We are excited to see what God does through this ministry in the lives of the children, teachers, and families of this school. To Him be the glory!
