Your Commitment to Support Happy Tummies 



We want to take a moment to let you know how thankful we are for your commitment to support Happy Tummies. Pastor Luis Martinez recently visited and shared
about this ministry and you so graciously made a commitment to help us with this program for malnourished children. We thought you might like to see the group pictures that have been taken in the last couple of weeks of the children at each Happy Tummies site. 

If you have not already started your commitment, whether it be a one-time or monthly donation, please know that if you wish to donate by  check , send your checks, made out to IMPACTO (write HTSJ, HTP, HTSchool on the memo line to let us know which one you wish your donation to go to) and mail to Impacto, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646. HTSJ is the first site started. This year we have 52 children enrolled. Not all attend every day but we keep in touch with each child's family to encourage the parent(s) to send them daily. 

HTP is the second site started. There are 19 children participating and almost all children attend every day. This area is extremely poor. There is a waiting list of children who want/need to attend. As support is raised, we will add children.

HTS is the third site and there are 184 children needing to be fed a nutritious meal each day. We are privileged to be allowed into this public school. Children will hear a daily story about Jesus and how He loves them. We do not have enough supporters to provide full meals yet but in June, we will begin providing nutrition drink, a piece of bread with peanut butter and a Bible story twice a week.
