August Praises and Prayer Requests

It's hard to believe that we are half-way through August, even harder to believe we got through what we call our "busy season." We have two weeks before the next team arrives, but there is much work to do 'til then. In the meantime, we ask that you join us in a few of our Praises and Prayer Requests...

Praises

-We praise God because in the last month Dr. Natareno was able to see each child at Happy Tummies Panyebar, Happy Tummies San Juan, each Abuelito.

-God was gracious this summer with all the teams that came to minister alongside Impacto; He watched their coming and going and we praise Him for doing so.

-This month the water cistern for Happy Tummies School is up and running! Praise God!

-We are in awe because in the past 3 months we saw more than 80 people come to the Lord! To God be the glory!

-This month we were able to celebrate National Bible Day with the children from Happy Tummies San Juan, Happy Tummies Panyebar, Abuelitos and Parents. We had a parade around San Juan and gave out many, many Bibles! "It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

I Have a Verse for You...

I'm very excited and looking forward with great expectations to what the Lord has in store with the our new medical ministry, Healing Hands. There is a specific verse that has been on my mind a lot and I want to share it with you:

"At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them." Luke 4:40

Requests

-Many of you have seen our latest email on Impacto's new ministry Healing Hands. This is an opportunity that God has given us to begin a year-round medical ministry. Besides providing a doctor and medicine for people this clinic would be a place where the sick would be prayed for and they would know and learn about our Great Physician. Here you can watch a video explaining more.

-We are still a little short on funds for the Pastor's Congress. Please prayerfully consider donating towards this event. It is a chance for Pastors, from all over the country, to have their cups filled.

-We ask that you would keep us in continual prayer. Our staff needs much prayer for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength. We are sure that we are where God wants us and our faith rests in Him; but this makes satan mad and he attacks. Please, keep us lifted in your prayers.

-Pray for God's provision for our staff.
