October Praise & Prayer Requests

And just like that we are now half way through October! As always, time has really flown by! We are honored that so many of you have kept lifting Impacto Ministry in your prayers. We know God hears each one of the prayers lifted. God and His timing are so perfect, sometimes we don't see it right away, but He always knows what He is doing. He is always faithful and He is always with us. This month has been a little chaotic for our staff but we felt Him every step of the way. Please continue to cover us and the ministry in prayers, it truly is the fuel of the ministry.

Praises

- We praise God, Pastor Luis and Dinora's wedding anniversary was celebrated on October 12. They are an example of God's love to all those around them.

- Dilma celebrated her birthday on October 11 and we couldn't be more thankful to God for bringing her into our staff.

- Tony also celebrated his birthday on October 13! So thankful to have him as part of our staff as well.

- New Life Church (MD), spent a week in Zacapa ministering through a medical team. Many people were broughtt physical healing, but more importantly many were brought spiritual healing. They were able to visit a town who only 5 months ago had heard the good news of the gospel for the first time! To God be the glory for an amazing week!

- EastLake Church (VA), is here hosting trainings on 'How to bring people to Christ'. This is a great tool for many Christians to be able to witness other people and see the Kingdom grow!

- We are seeing God's provision daily. As humans we sometimes become apprehensive about the economical side of the ministry, however, His provision never ceases to amaze us.

- Our Happy Tummies Kids are reaching the end of the school year! We are so honored to be part of their lives and experience their growth.

- This month we were also privileged to host youth leaders from all over the country, different churches and denominations. We spent 24 hours with them, praising God, filling ourselves with God's word and praying for the upcoming event of Zona Cero, youth camp in December.

I have a verse for you...

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised" Proverbs 31:30 NIV

Remember, make-up and fancy clothes, for both woman and men, will give you outer beauty, but fearing the Lord will always show off your REAL beauty.

Requests

- We ask that you pray with us for all the families of Happy Tummies, we are seeing tremendous growth in them and their relationship with God. This means Satan is not happy! He is trying to use all his tricks and tramps to get these families to turn from God. Many of them are new believers so they need lots of prayer to stand firm in the Lord.

- Please don't forget 'Giving Tuesday' is coming up next month. Please prayerfully consider donating towards Abuelitos ministry. Getting them their own place will benefit more people than you can imagine, as Pastor Luis says, 'Ripple Effect'.

- As the year is getting closer to ending our staff is starting to feel the tiredness of the past months, please pray for physical and spiritual strength as we still have many big events in our calendar.

- We are still in need of donors for Happy Tummies. We are anxious to see both locations grow in number but we do need donors to make that possible. Please consider partnering with us to see these children grow not only in health but in their spiritual walk with God as well.

- Our staff is not fully funded. Our staff is here by faith because they know this is where God has called them to be. Please pray for God's provision for each of our staff members.
