Happy Almost Thanksgiving!
A Month of Thanksgiving...
November = Thanksgiving! Impacto has many things to be thankful for and one of the our biggest blessings is you! Thank you for your support through prayer, through ministering alongside us, and through your financial gifts. Thank you, for your love and for believing in what God has sent us to do here in Guatemala.

Praises - Rejoice with us:
God has been so good to us, we've seen His grace around every corner. God continues to amaze us in everything He calls us to do. We are in awe of how He provides and opens and closes doors, His will is perfect and His plans are perfect. This month we are thankful for many things and here are a few we want to share with you:

~ God's protection for our staff who continues to travel.

~ Over 40 children gave their souls to Christ during VBS in Coban.

~ Over 45 children came to know Christ during VBS in the lake region.

~ This week we are holding VBS in Zacapa and we can really see God at work.

~ This month God provided to pour the roof on the house at the Promised Land.

~ God has provided for the begining phase of the Abuelitos home! To God be the glory!

~The youth who were trained for VBS in Coban came back with changed hearts and minds. The feedback we are hearing from them, their families and Churches is beyond what we had imagined! Praise be to God for what He is doing in the life of these young Christians.

~ As December rolls around we are so excited to host Zona Cero, youth camp. This is an opportunity for many youth around Guatemala to come together to hear the Word of God, be filled by His spirit, and fellowship with one another.

~ We also are quickly approaching our Christmas Festival Week. we will be celebrating with over 200 people that week, including the children and moms from Happy Tummies, the Abuelitos, and the Pastor's from our monthly training sessions!
I have a verse for you...

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus"   1 Thessalonians 5:18
Boots
This month we wanted to focus on thanking and not asking, but we saw a need we just couldn't ignore. Last week the roof for the house at the Promised Land was poured and we asked for volunteers, because we needed about 30 men. When the men showed up Pastor Luis noticed that many of them didn't have proper foot wear! They were wearing open-toe shoes and some wore shoes that were so tattered they may as well have been barefoot. Many of these men work in construction, or in the fields. They also have to cut firewood on a weekly basis for their families. They need better shoes for such tasks to protect from mud, cuts, spider and snake bites, etc. This is why we want to get each man that came to help a pair of rubber boots for Christmas! We need about 40 pairs and they are US$20. If you feel God leading you to give a pair of boots for one of these men you can either send a check (to our address found at the bottom) or click the link below to our website and send a gift through Paypal. God will surely reward you for all you do for His people.
