April has ended as quickly as it began. The months here seem to be flying by; we are humbled and in awe by what God has done in the first 4 months of this year! We've welcomed 10 new kids at the Panyebar Happy Tummies making it right at

40 children participating there. In the next few weeks we have a few more surprises coming up! We feel so very, very blessed because God is using Impacto and your gifts to change and improve so many lives here in the lake area. We just cannot say it enough: Thank you for your financial and prayerful support.

"Whose Fault Is It?

From the very beginning, man has been blaming someone else. Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the snake. If there would've been someone else they would've gotten blamed too. The Bible tells us clearly that the fault is ours. Romans 7:25 tells us that there is a conflict in man that has lasted centuries. This conflict is within us and in the wishes of our own flesh.

The Bible says that our own nature doesn't allow us to do the good things we want to do. "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing." [Romans 7:19]

The Bible says that we will lose this battle we're fighting. "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?" [Romans 7:24]

We must realize that we have no one else to blame but ourselves. "So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me."

But the Good News is that when I change my ways, Christ takes that blame. "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ." [Romans 8:1]

Diego Julian

Some of you might know Diego Julian since he's been with us for a few years. This is his first year in Middle School so he now comes to us in the morning. Diego's dad is a tuc tuc driver. A few days ago one of our staff members rode in his tuc tuc and began talking about Diego Julian. His father said that he was a good kid, a good student, and a good son. He went on to say that he really had Happy Tummies to thank for that and shared that he felt sure that if Diego had not been in Happy Tummies that Diego would be a different kid. At Happy Tummies Diego is taught about God, and of course God and good morals go hand-in-hand. He said that when Diego was younger he was a bit of a rebel. It was but after participating in Happy Tummies for a while that he saw his son change. He said he loves how open Diego is about his love for God. This really filled our hearts with joy. That's the whole point. That is our mission: to lead these young kids to fall in love with Christ! To God be the glory for Diego's testimony!

Please keep in mind that we are raising funds for the windows and doors at the Happy Tummies Library. We know that it seems to be a large cost, but we want these books to have a long life and serve many generations. We know that these books will be key in the success of the children at Happy Tummies. Our goal is to see these kids graduate from college and the library will be a big part in making that goal happen. Diego Julian is a great example why the library is important to us. He has been able to excel in school due to, in big part, the resources from the library. Please consider donating towards this ministry.
