Praises and Requests             June 2017
As we're almost at the halfway mark of the year we can't help but give all glory and honor to God! To say this year has been an uphill battle is an understatement. However, we proclaim from every corner of this universe that our God is great and He is full of mercy, grace, and miracles! Below we want to share with you just a few reasons we praise Him and a few requests we are lifting up to Him.
Praises
- We are praising God this month for His provision! We've seen Him provide what was needed for the Happy Tummies in Panyebar. (We hope to be updating on this very soon.)

- We're really moving along on the wall around Happy Tummies! So glad to be able to make our area safer for the kids.

- We are so thankful for the teams that have been here already this year and those to come. Teams are such a great key to our ministry. They open doors and once they leave we stay behind to see things through and disciple.

- We've seen God's mighty hand at work. The harder the enemy comes at us the bigger and mightier our God works.

- Many of you have heard we experinced an earthquake a few nights ago. Praise God, we felt His protection that night.
I have a verse for you...

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."   2 Corinthians 1:20
Requests

- We are a little short from getting the windows and doors for the library. Please know that the library will create, as Pastor Luis loves to say, a huge ripple effect for our community.

- Please pray for guidance and wisdom for our staff. We are having to make many decisions and are waiting for a lot of answers. Please pray for God to give us a clear view of His will.

- Pray for those affected from the earthquake. There were some structural damages as well as 5 deaths in other parts of the country.

- Join us in praying for all those who will come minister alongside us for the next few months. May God protect them and may we all see His mighty hand at work.
'It's raining, it's pouring'
We've had a had quite a bit of rain this season and we've noticed some of the kids coming to Happy Tummies with no protective gear. If you're team is joining us this summer we are asking that you consider bringing kids sized ponchos and kids sized umbrellas. We know sometimes you can get some of these at the dollar store. We have 53 kids in San Juan and 62 in Panyebar. Please consider gifting the children during our rainy season.
