Miracles. This word has been ringing in our ears, coming up in conversations, and being said in our daily prayers. Everyone longs to see a miracle in their lives and in the lives of those for whom they love and pray. Someone recently said "the sole purpose of miracles is to bring glory to God." This couldn't be more true. And, so, while the enemy is trying hard to knock us down we will use very ounce of strength in us to bring glory to God and to exalt His name.

" And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

Put your faith into action. The book of Luke says, "Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed." (Luke 17:11-14) Here we are told the story of 10 men who had leprosy. In the time of Jesus' life, lepers were a margin to society; they lived apart from society. Leprosy was a terminal illness and they knew there was nothing they could do to cure it. It's in that moment when Jesus appears and they YELLED " and called out in a loud voice, 'Jesus, Master, have pity on us!'" (Luke 17:13) that they put their faith into action. What do you do when you're losing your marriage, your family, your health, your joy, your finances, etc? It's the moment to YELL like these 10 men did saying, 'HAVE PITTY ON ME!'
When just a single one of the 10 came back to say thank you Jesus gave him the reason why he was saved. "Then he said to him, ' Rise and go; your faith has made you well.'" (Luke 17:19) So, it was his faith that saved him. When we are desperate we need to make desperate prayers.  "I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain." (Psalm 3:4) PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION.

Nicolas
Nicolas is an amazing little boy. His life hasn't been easy; he has 6 siblings. His father is an alcoholic. He had stopped drinking about 4 years ago but because of his diabetes he lost a leg. After that, about 2-and-a-half years ago, he started drinking again. He has a hard time finding a job because of his disability and when he does find a job he uses his salary to drink. Nicolas' sister was a part of Happy Tummies from the beginning. However, due to the family's needs, she had to get a job. That's when Nicolas joined. We know we can't fix his life. What we can do is tell him about Jesus. While in Happy Tummies he is learning to be joyous in the Lord and we hope we are giving him the tools he needs to become a man of God.
