Praises and Requests--September

What a joy and blessing it is to welcome fall with you. The holiday season is nearing and with it our hearts are rejoicing in what God has done. Our busiest season, as we call it, came to an end but with it came lots of work with our staff. Below we want to share some Praises and some Requests that are on our hearts. Thank you so much for your prayers for we know this is what keeps us going.

Praises

- We are so grateful for God's provision for adding our false ceiling in Happy Tummies San Juan.

- God has also provided for the windows in Happy Tummies. They should be installed within the next week or so.

- On September 30 we will celebrate our 4th Stitches of Blessings graduation.

- Every day it is a joy to see the children of all Happy Tummies' grow physically and in the Lord.

- Today we are celebrating Independence Day here in Guatemala. We are so proud of the country where we serve.

- We are very close to finishing the walls around Happy Tummies San Juan and Happy Tummies Panyebar! This has been an on-going project over the summer and we are so thankful to all who came and worked on either wall. We hope they will be done in the next month!

Praise God, the false ceiling has really helped soften the loudness of the rain!

A local artist came and held an art contest for the kids! They had a blast!

Requests

- We ask that you join us in prayer for our staff. We are making many decisions on what is to come for Impacto. Please join us in praying and asking God that He may fill us with His wisdom and that any and every decision we make be to God's glory.

- For provision for all our ministries for the next year. Pray that God will provide for us to keep going and may we continue to be a channel God uses to bless the people of Guatemala.

- As we celebrate our Independence Day here we are also heartbroken to see our country broken by such a corrupt government. We know God did not call us to judge but to fervently pray and call out to Him. So please join us in praying for the political situation in Guatemala.

- Please join us in prayer for our Abuelitos, the children of Happy Tummies, and all those we come in contact with daily. Though we love giving to them our main priority is to bring them to Christ and gently guide them in their daily walk with Him.

- Join us in praying for our upcoming Pastor's Congress. We are expecting around 125 participants. Pray that their cups are filled and they may have new strength to go back to their homes as they disciple the people around them.

After homework time the kids pull out their Bible and copy down verses. This is such a great way for them to learn and memorize the Word of God.
