This year just seems to be flying by. September has been a busy month for our staff. We've been working hard getting ready for our annual Pastor's Congress. There have been documents translated, printed, and put into folders. Bags have been filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, books, and hygiene packs. Name tags have been printed and put into badges along with meal tickets. There is much preparation that goes into making this Congress happen, but we rejoice in knowing it's for God's glory.
This month we also celebrated Children's Day. It's actually on October 1, but we had a party a few days early. The kids from San Juan and Panyebar Happy Tummies came to the Promised Land. They had a day filled with games, fun, laughter, flying kites, and good food.
September also brought graduation for this year's Stitches of Blessings class! The women were so excited to celebrate this special occasion with their loved ones by their side. Some of the women live almost 2 hours away and made an effort to come to every class. It wasn't easy for them to find someone to be with their kids and families but they knew it would be worth it in the end.
Please keep our staff lifted in prayer as we prepare for our end of the year ministries. Our Congress is October 2-5 and over 150 people have registered. Pray for our staff, helpers, and speakers. May we all radiate God to His servants. We also have VBS coming up and part of our staff will be traveling to Zacapa with a team from Maine and Ohio. Zona Cero is also fast approaching. This year, due to the request from the youth, we are adding an extra day to Zona Cero! We are doing this by faith. This ministry is not fully funded, but God provides every year, and every year we see how the youth leave with their cups over flowing and filled with the love of Christ.
The day Zona Cero ends we will be welcoming a team who will be here to help us celebrate Christmas! Christmas Festival week is the last event of the year and it always brings many blessings. We will be having Christmas at our Happy Tummies locations as well as for the workers, and many more around us.
Again, we ask that you lift Impacto in prayer, pray for God's provision, and for physical, as well as spiritual strength for our staff.
