Meet Juan C., Juan P., and Diego. These three young men are from San Juan La Laguna. They attended every training session we held for VBS and Sunday School. While getting ready for VBS in Zacapa, we were met with the predicament that we needed a few extra hands to teach the kids. Juan C. was going to be helping in the kitchen but before we left San Juan he used all his time to help with cutting out shapes and letters to decorate. Juan P. and Diego worked on learning the lessons and being ready to be with the kids. Juan C. came to Zacapa VBS last year, but Juan P. and Diego did not. They have loved every minute of being here. They are great with their classes and the kids have quickly fallen in love with them. Both of them have had quite the missionary experience. They've been taken out of their homes, families, and comfort zones. They have experienced a different kind of poverty and are following a call from God. We are so blessed to witness this trip with them, to see them grow, and to see them follow God. We pray and hope that our staff has impacted their generation, and that one day we'll see them leading VBS with a new generation. To God be the glory!
