Warm greetings to all!

April showers ... April has surely showered us with blessings! We've been able to grow as an organization, as a staff, and as individuals.

Our staff has had a very busy month! Many of us have been traveling, lending friends a helping hand, and sharing about the ministry of Impacto in different churches. Pastor Luis and Tony have had the privilege of sharing God's Word with different congregations this month. It's such a joy to be able to fellowship in different churches and know that you are surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ! To God be all the glory! We pray that He may continue to use our staff as vessels to share and spread the Gospel. We rejoice in being able to work full-time in this ministry. We are overwhelmed and eternally grateful for the privilege to serve our Father each and every day!
Pastor Luis' Corner
How to measure that which cannot be measured…the unmeasurable

God wants us to measure that which is unmeasurable, but first He empowers us to measure the unmeasurable. Ephesians 3 gives four things that we need to measure:
1.  How wide - immense
2.  How long - eternal
3.  How deep - incomprehensible
4.  How high - infinite

To be able to measure these four things He says in Ephesians 3:16 what we need to do to prepare and be able to measure these things. "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man." This verse refers to the inner man. The inner man needs to be connected with God by His spirit. The power required is a spiritual, holy, heavenly, and divine power that can only be transmitted by the Holy Spirit.

The other thing we need to do to be able to measure these four things is found in
verse 17: "That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love." The key is to dwell in faith. Two other keys are to be rooted like a sturdy tree and founded like a building in love. So regarding to what was mentioned before we're given the answer in Ephesians 3:18, "may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height."

In my next Corner we will talk about the unmeasurable, but today I want to talk about what we can measure - width. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus tells us how we can measure the width: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."

Since I personally don’t believe there is life outside our planet, the width is all the nations. So, I challenge you to measure the width – ALL THE NATIONS.
Happy Tummies
Many of you who have been on mission trips with Impacto have heard Pastor Luis talking about the "ripple effect." He talks about how one Christ-like deed, one Christ-like action can cause a ripple of many Christ-like deeds and actions. We see it almost daily in the ministry. We see how kids who were ministered to through a team at a VBS in a church are now young adult leaders in their church!

We see the ripple effect in the kids at Happy Tummies and their families. We see parents seek God after their children come home knowing and sharing Bible verses. We disciple families who want to know more about God, who want to follow in His footsteps after their children have come home talking about God and how He sent Jesus to save us, to save them!

Many of you have visited Happy Tummies and know how it operates. For those of you who haven’t, here is a brief explanation. We have four Happy Tummies locations, two of which operate after school. The children come at noon and receive a nutritious, warm meal. Afterward they brush their teeth, we bring them together for Bible Story/Devotional. They then have time to do their homework and we have certified teachers to tutor them. Right before going home they have a nutritious, vitamin-filled drink. What the children delight in the most is the love of God that is shown to them through the staff and teams that come minister alongside us.

Lately God has put in our hearts to open a new Happy Tummies in Zacapa, located on the eastern side of Guatemala. It is a very poor area; it’s very hot and dry. It's a place where adults and kids are in dire need of hearing the Gospel! Through our years of ministry we have learned to take leaps of faith and we’ve also learned we need to be good stewards with what God has given us. Funds are low in two out of four Happy Tummies’ here in the lake area. God always provides and is faithful; however, we know that we cannot open and manage a new Happy Tummies if the ones already running are not fully funded.

Some of the reasons our funds are low are because: people who've made a commitment don't renew their commitment; people get involved in other churches and ministry efforts separate from Impacto; people go home excited with every intention of sending financial support but get back into their routine and forget; we raised funds for HT Public School II but did not ask for reoccurring commitments so after this year, that HT will need monthly supporters.

So today we are asking that you partner with us. Help raise all needed funds for the Happy Tummies we already have and your help will ultimately lead to opening a new Happy Tummies. The children, families, and community of Zacapa need to hear the Good News. Tummies need to be fed, but even more, souls need to be spiritually fed.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to fully fund our existing Happy Tummies so that we may open a new one in Zacapa.
