We've hit the half-way mark of the 2018 and are only 193 days away from Christmas...how crazy is that?! The first half of this year has been busy to say the least. Many things have happened here both good and not so good. Our biggest news is still the eruption of Fuego Volcano. Our hearts hurt with those affected, and our love goes out to those still searching for their families. With the eruption of the volcano many have become angry at our government for not dealing correctly with such an awful disaster. However, we're not writing this to talk ill of our government. Please join us in prayer, that their hearts may be touched, that their eyes may be opened and that they may be led by our one and only true King. Below, we want to share a few Praises that we'd love for you to join us in rejoicing and glorifying God's name for all He has done. We also have a few requests; please join us in praying for these.

Praises

We praise God for the Abuelitos land. Construction is underway. Since construction isn't all over the land yet we're also using it to grow crops that will help feed the Abuelitos and the children! We praise God for His protection during the eruption of Fuego Volcano. Instead of doing a Mother's Day celebration in May we decided to do Parent's Day! Both parents were invited to come spend an afternoon celebrating with their kids in Happy Tummies. It was so much fun and the kids loved having their parents with them! We are overwhelmed by God's provision through all of you who have donated for the victims of Fuego Volcano. We'll keep that open for a few months because supplies are really going to be needed in about 3 months when they are relocated.

I have a verse for you... "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Prayer Requests

Continued prayers for those affected by Fuego Volcano. Prayers for the country of Guatemala and the government; that they may be led by God and that He may work miracles in them. Safety and protection during the next couple of months as we host teams and interns. The upcoming Bible Conference; that God will bring all participants safely and may each of their cups be filled.
