Six hundred. This month more than 600 souls came to Christ! How awesome is that? We can't even begin to understand how God works! As we look back on this month we are in awe and completely humbled by what God is doing through Impacto. We are so honored to work alongside all those who have been here this past month. We know it's not easy to raise funds or to leave family and friends behind. We know some have used their vacation time to come, minister, and to let God shine through them. However, we know the reward is in heaven, for they have obeyed what we are commanded to do in God's Word, "He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" (Mark 16:15) We know there was an immense celebration in heaven! Please join in joyous celebration of these 600+ souls! To God be all the glory forever and ever!

Who Choses Your Blessing? You or God?

" Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.   And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.   As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9

I think you are the one who chooses your own blessings. I want to give you a few tips (this is not prosperity theology).

  1. "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give" (verse 7a). This means that you decide how big or how small you want your blessing. Verse 6 says, "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously."
  2. Give with a cheerful heart, "not reluctantly." Remember what Acts 20:35b says, "remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
  3. Give Freely. Remember that nothing that you "have" is yours. "Everything belongs to God. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."

My desire for you is that you will make the decision to be generous for the Kingdom. " For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also ."
Matthew 6:21. I hope your heart is in His Kingdom.
Interns
I n July we had the privilege of hosting 6 awesome interns! We are so proud of each of them. Each heard the call of the Lord and obeyed! We pray and hope that their time here was filled with God-moments, they leave here with their hearts full, and their souls blessed! We are so thankful for each of them and their servant's heart!

Supporting Local Schools
Impacto works with a lot of local schools. We visit them with the support of the mission teams that come and minister alongside us. We delight in the fact that we can go into public schools and share the Gospel with freedom! Through these visits we have been able to form a bond with the students and teachers alike and they constantly visit our home seeking advice and prayer. We enjoy the ties made between them and our staff. Every year all the local schools, both private and public, come together for a week of the "olympics." Every kid is on a team and schools play against each other in different sports and age groups! The schools have a small budget set aside for uniforms, but it is very small and doesn't go very far. Some of the families don't have the extra budget to pitch in for uniforms, so they came and asked Impacto to sponsor them. We gladly agreed! We are big supporters of sports and, this also keeps the doors of these schools open for us to come in and share about Christ!
