What an awesome month it has been so far! We, once again, cannot begin to put into words all that God has done here in just the last few weeks. Sometimes, when we share stories with each other at the end of the day we can't find explanations for certain moments. All we can think to say is, "it was a God moment." Our days are filled with these moments, but not just in Guatemala, all over the world! Take time during your day to delight and praise Him during these moments. We can't thank you enough for coming to minister, for sending help, for joining us in the fight for the Kingdom and for all your prayers.
Praises
  • During one of the basketball camps this month a team left some basketballs as a gift for the school. One of the teachers approached one of our staff and said, "we've been praying for sports equipment. It seems that a lot of times when we ask God for something specific for our school we get a call from you, and during your visit God provides the exact thing we were needing and sometimes wanting." It's such an honor to see God using Impacto to bless those who seek Him.
  • We praise God for the safe birth of Jadon Ezra Armiger, son of Jeremy & Ana Armiger, and the 5th grandchild to Pastor Luis and Dinora.
  • Once again we are so grateful to our Lord for each and every single team and person He has sent to Guatemala this year. Each of the people who have been here have made an impact; they have started a ripple affect.
  • This past week we were able to celebrate birthdays at both Happy Tummies locations! We had so much fun and loved being able to celebrate the children!
  • Praise be to God for the 3 interns He sent to us during the month of August. Kennedy Williams, Jake Farrell, and Megan Bressler.

" For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching  its decrees and laws in Israel."

Requests
  • Please pray with us for more monthly supporters for Happy Tummies. We have over 400 children depending on us for a daily nutritious meal. We cannot provide this for them without your support. It takes $30 per child per month. If you would, take time to pray about joining us in the effort for one or more children to have a meal and more importantly to learn about Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifices.
  • We are in need of travel/trial size hotel shampoos, conditioners, and soap. As many of you know, we make hygiene packs for many different ministries. Such as, the Bible Conference, Pastor's Congress, Zona Cero, and many more. This year we are almost out of shampoo. If your team is traveling and has any extra room we would really appreciate your help!
  • Once again, we ask that you continue to join us in prayer, our staff is quite tired from a full summer. Please pray that we don't let our guard down, that we keep giving it our all, and above all, that Jesus' name may be glorified during the next few weeks!
  • Pastor Luis will be traveling quite a bit in the coming weeks to visit many churches, please join us in praying that he will speak from his heart, and that Impacto's vision may be known and understood by many!
