September has been a month for preparing. We've been nonstop preparing for the Pastor's Congress, VBS, Zacapa, Zona Cero, and Christmas celebration week. A lot of preparation goes into all these ministries, we have to call each of the Pastors on our list to see if they're coming, and then call them again to remind them to come. We have to study lessons for VBS and set up all logistics for Zacapa.

This year the largest portion of our Christmas week team is not able to come. So our staff is preparing to lead celebrations that week. Please continue to keep Impacto lifted in prayer as we minister to many and share the love of Christ and His Good News.

Our Pastor's Congress is coming up October 15-18. We've spent the larger part of this month preparing for this ministry. It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to make these 3 days go as smoothly as possible. Please keep us all in your prayers as we minister to Pastor's, their wives, church leaders, and those who want to grow more and go back home to teach what they've learned.

It is a joy and privilege for us to minister to those who spend their days ministering to others.

Philippians 2:1-5

This corner is going to be very short. I want you to do something I cannot do for you. I want you to make a list of what verse 5 is referring to when it says, " have the same mindset as Christ Jesus." I know there is a long list of thoughts, actions, and situations you can name where we need to " have the same mindset as Christ Jesus."

" Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus."

Zona Cero is our annual youth camp. This ministry started as a small dream of bringing some local youth together to spend time in worship and learning more about the Lord.

God turned this small dream into something huge! This youth camp now brings close to 150 youth from all over the country together! We started out with a 2-day camp and we are now having a 5-and-a-half-day camp! The youth love it! They've made life long friendships and have found a safe place where they can share, learn, and grow in Christ together. Last year we witnessed a self proclaimed atheist come back to Jesus and re-surrender his life to Him.

This is one of the ministries in which our funds are the lowest. We ask that you prayerfully consider financially partnering with us as we help mold the future of our country. We ask the youth for a Q100 offering, which is the equivalent of about US$15. Though this is the offering we ask for, it really takes about $75 per teen to cover costs for the whole camp. A lot of the youth don't have the funds for this but they know they are still welcome. Some of the youth who can't afford this are our 6th graders in Happy Tummies. So, we ask that if Happy Tummies has a special part in your hearts you consider sponsoring one of our eight 6th graders.
