Isn't it hard to believe we are so close to the end of the year? This year has flown by! It's been an amazing year and we've seen God do so much! This doesn't mean we haven't seen our share of hardships, but God is faithful and will never abandon His children.
Below we're sharing some praises and a few requests so that you may join us in prayer as we worship and cry out to our Father.
Praises
The VBS in Zacapa was amazing! Thanks to a very kind soul we were able to give all the kids, teens, and moms Bibles on the very first day! We know many came to know Christ that week. Our first day started with about 150, and the week ended with around 500! To God be the glory!
While in Zacapa we were able to be a part of their baptism service. It was so wonderful to see a couple of kids who have been coming to VBS for years follow through in this act of obedience to the Lord.
We praise God for reaching the end of one more school year at our Happy Tummies Schools!
We praise God simply because He is who He is. He is all that is good. He is kind. He is love. He is merciful and gracious. He is our Creator, Provider, and so much more! All praise and glory be to Him.
I have a verse for you...
"I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Psalm 18:1-2
Requests
Pray for our staff. We're facing a very difficult situation and very much need your prayers. Though we can't give much detail right now, we hope to soon. Meanwhile we are clinging to God and continue to worship Him.
As many of you know we have our Zona Cero youth camp coming up in the next couple of weeks. We are expecting around 150 youth and are so excited to host them, and share about God. We ask that you pray for safety for everyone involved as well as the financial side of things. We ask the teens for a small offering of about Q15, but most of them come for free. Feeding teens is no joke and we want to make sure to treat them as best as we can. Please prayerfully consider joining us in the effort to minister to teens from all over Guatemala.
Pray for Juanita. It hasn't been easy trying to schedule all her appointments and her eye surgery. Pray for doors to open and for everyone's schedule to fall into place so we can get her taken care of as soon as possible.
