Happy New Year!

2018 was a good year; it had very difficult moments, some that totally broke us, but the thing about being broken is that sometimes that’s when we see God’s Grace, Mercy, Love, and Redemption in a whole new light. 

As the year comes to an end and we look back we know that without a doubt God was with us the entire time. So, as we walk into 2019 we are asking God to help us see through eyes of faith! 

We will be going forward with the construction at the Abuelitos land, continuing to pour into all the children at all the different Happy Tummies sites, and of course our sweet Abuelitos. We will continue and further our efforts to share the Gospel and bring more souls to Christ. This year has taught us that nothing is a sure thing except for our salvation and eternity in Christ Jesus. 

We ask that you please continue to pray for Tony’s situation, for there to be full closure, and for God’s provision. 

We want to thank you for all the prayers, financial support, and team efforts we have seen from you this year. We know that this ministry is God’s and we, as Impacto, are so humbled to be His vessel. This past year we saw many come to the Lord and, in Jesus’ name, we hope to see that number grow for the honor and glory of God!

On this last day of the year, looking back on 2018, the largest feeling I get is gratitude for what God has done during the year. So, I want to begin this corner thanking God for each of you reading this letter because many of you let God use you to pray for our ministry and to financially support Impacto. I know God can do everything with us or without us, but, He called you and I to be a team and bring Good News to the lost. Now, I want you to read, very slowly and meditate in your heart what God said to us through His Word.

" Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits —   who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases   who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;   he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed,   he remembers that we are dust. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;   the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting   the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,   you his servants who do his will. Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul. " Psalm 103
