WOW! We are lacking the words to describe what the past 15 days have been like. There is no doubt in our mind that God is with us. He has fought so many battles for us and we have seen countless miracles in our lives! We cannot thank you enough for joining us in prayer; we know there is power in numbers and power in prayers and we have seen it. Please, continue to shower Impacto with your prayers, God is still fighting many battles for us; but we have seen beauty and hope through each battle. Our God is already victorious and we are humbled to be His children and a part of His ministry.

Below are some answered prayers so that you may rejoice alongside us at all He has done. We also have some requests we continue to lay at His feet. Thank you.
  • Praise be to God’s Holy Name for being able to get Juanita’s operation done! Her case had truly turned into an emergency; our staff worked hard making many phone calls and, through God opening the right doors, Juanita was able to have surgery and is looking happier than ever! Her eye will heal for one month and then she will begin the process of being fitted for a prosthetic eye. We will keep you updated.

  • We exalt God for being with Tony during the trial he had last week. We want to share so much but as for now we can’t. We do ask that you join us in praising the Lord’s name for being present that day and working a true miracle!

  • Last week some of our staff was able to go with a small team from Riverview Baptist Church to a place in Guatemala called Totonicapan. There, the Methodist Church of Guatemala held their first conference after attending Impacto’s Bible Conference for the past few years. It was such a privilege to be with them this first year and be a part of a new ministry for them!

  • This month we have officially started training 2 days each month for pastors who will be able to earn a diploma if they complete all the classes and assignments. For those who cannot attend every class or complete every assignment, a certificate can be earned if they complete a high percentage of attendance and assignments. This program is affiliated with the seminary in Guatemala City. Many local pastors never finished high school and this is the first opportunity they have had to attend seminary classes. During class, the students have a little bit of everything, hearing the Word of God, learning theology, prayer time, fellowship, and bonding. These training sessions are very important to help equip the saints so that they can, in turn, teach the people in their churches.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13
  • Please continue to join us in prayer for complete healing of Juanita’s eye. We know her quality of life will now be better and that she’ll feel her best once her prosthetic eye is in.

  • We ask that you continue to lift Tony, and our staff in prayer. We have seen God’s miracles, and as a good friend said to us this past week; we cannot wait till our trial becomes our testimony! Please pray that this situation will have a good outcome and soon.

  • Please pray for provision for our staff. Most aren’t fully funded; we are all certain that God will provide. He always does. But we ask that you prayerfully consider joining us as financial partners as we do God’s work here in Guatemala.

  • Let’s all pray together for all the teams that will be joining us this year. Please pray for protection as they travel and minister to many people. Let’s pray that many lives are reached and many will hear and believe the Good News. That each person from the teams and our staff will be able to show the love of God and how He sent His Son to die for us. That everyone will be walking, talking testimonies of the marvelous power of God.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Matthew 9:36
