Mami, Pastor Luis' mom, went to be with Jesus this morning around 1:30. Many of you know she has been in declining health for several months. Those of you who met her probably remember a very sweet-natured, caring lady with a bright smile. Today, her smile is focused on her God and she is praising Him. Pastor Luis and his family thank you for all of your prayers, your many words of comfort, and your support. They also ask that you keep them lifted in the coming days as they transition from having mami here to only having precious memories of her. Please especially keep papi in your prayers. After 72 years of marriage, it will be a struggle for him without mami by his side. We give God thanks for mami's life, how she never faltered in her faith, and the example she sat for all of us as a Godly woman.
