You know how at the beginning of the year you sit down and set your goals, your New Year’s Resolutions? And you promise yourself that you will be more efficient, more organized, work out more, make healthier food choices, work harder, play less, spend less, save more, write everything down, take vitamins, spend more time with those you love, worry less, and the list goes on! How exhausting is the start of a new year?!

As you can see, it’s a little over half of the first month and we’ve already dropped the ball. So please enjoy our Praises & Requests newsletter even though it’s a few days late. Hope you will join us in prayer and, as always, to God be the glory for all He has done!
PRAISES

  • We praise God for a New Year! It’s wild to think we are in 2020! We are so grateful that God has allowed us to start a New Year to continue spreading the Gospel.

  • We are so thankful to have Larry & Carlotta Walsh and Josh DePra here working alongside us in the ministry.

  • We thank the Lord above for a wonderful Holiday Season spent with friends and family.

  • The Abuelito’s building is coming along. We are in awe at how fast things are happening and so grateful to God for sending us many to guide us through this building process.

  • The last couple of weeks we were able to host two different exploratory team trips and we are just so grateful to God for opening doors and allowing us to share what He is doing here through Impacto.

  • Pastor Luis had the privilege of being invited to pray over the new Mayor of San Juan (where Happy Tummies and Abuelito’s is located). Last year we had elections and this year the new government officials took their place. It was such a privilege and we are so pumped that Pastor Luis was there to share Jesus with a prayer and a handshake – sometimes that’s all it takes.
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Exodus 14:14
REQUESTS

  • Please join us in prayer for a wonderful 2020. We are praying for God’s love, protection, provision, mercy, and grace.

  • We would appreciate special prayers as we are about to head into one of the busiest years we’ve had.

  • Pray with us as construction at the Abuelitos site continues forward, that we will continue to trust in God and His provision 100%.

  • Join us as we pray for the new President and other government officials in Guatemala. Let’s pray that they will fear the Lord and do what is best for this country.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Matthew 9:36
