APRIL - CHRIST AROSE! REJOICE AND PRAY WITH US!

April 15, 2023 by Impacto

What an astounding time the first half of April has been. There is something so wonderful yet humbling about celebrating Easter. The fact that God sent His only Son, and that Jesus died for us, for our sins, is something we should celebrate all year, but it’s delightful to have a dedicated time to reflect and meditate on the magnitude of Easter.

Below we would like to share a few Praises for you to rejoice and praise God alongside us and some Requests we would like to ask that you take up in prayer before our Lord.

PRAISES

  • Our four Happy Tummies are flourishing! The How Great Thou Art Church in San Juan is making an abundant effort in connecting with our Happy Tummies there. Which means, all our Happy Tummies are now directly connected to one of our local churches and more families are being reached!
  • We are so excited to see many teams this year that we have not seen since 2019! When teams come to minister alongside Impacto they do a lot. One of the things teams do that they might not realize is they encourage us and become our friends. After not seeing them for 3 years we are eager to see them again!
  • Thanks to a gift from some of our friends we were able to go to different local public schools and donate sports uniforms! Making donations like this is a way for us to stay connected with the community and opens doors to be able to go into public schools and share with the children about Jesus.
  • Our biggest praise for this month is the reason for the season of Easter! We praise God for sending His Son, Jesus, to die for us and show us His love and mercy.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

1 Peter 2:9

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for our staff, we are preparing to head into our busiest season since 2019. We are so excited to see many old friends, but a little nervous that we might be a little rusty. Pray for strength, rest, wisdom, and knowledge.
  • We ask that you pray for all our Nueva Vida Pastors. Many are going through tough times with family, finances, and other trials. Pray that they will feel God’s presence and that God will give us the wisdom and knowledge to serve them as they serve their communities.
  • We ask that you pray for Pastor Luis as he has many upcoming travels. Pray for strength and rest for him as well.
