Goodbye August! We did it! We finished our busy season and had the most blessed summer. We are so grateful that from May to mid-August we hosted 20 teams! God is so good! We saw an estimated 400+ people come to Christ! Can you imagine? 400+ new souls that we will all see again one day in Heaven.
It’s overwhelming to know that God has used so many of you to spread His Gospel. It’s humbling to know that because you stepped out of your comfort zone, you raised funds for your trip, left your family, and put everything on pause, God used your sacrifice to bring people to Him. To God be all the glory!
DID YOU KNOW THAT ...

Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward them for what they have done.
Proverbs 19:17 [NIV]
SEVEN BLESSINGS
In our mid-July e-letter, I shared with you Psalm 41:1. Today, I want to give you the seven blessings, promised in Psalm 41:1-3, when you consider the poor. The Psalmist gives seven blessings for when you are generous to the weak.
- Blessed are those who have regard for the weak.
- The Lord delivers them in times of trouble.
- The Lord protects and preserves them.
- They are counted among the blessed in the land.
- Does not give them over to the desire of their foes.
- The Lord sustains them on their sickbed.
- Restores them from their bed of illness.
I invite you to not only think about the poor and weak but to also actively be generous to those who are poor and/or weak. Proverbs 19:17 says “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.”
May God bless you.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL PLANS
As our staff winds down a little from hosting teams we turn back to everything we had put on our backburners. We are excited to plan for teams that will be joining us this fall, training our Happy Tummies teachers and other workers. We are eager to plan for Zona Cero, Youth Camp.
We also are beginning preparations for the annual Christmas Festival! Plans are underway to continue providing, as we have in the past, families with a basket full of food staples, including a carton of 30 eggs, special Christmas treats, and a live chicken for Christmas tamales! We are hoping to bless over 200 families with these Christmas bundles. On the day we give gift families with Christmas baskets, we also throw a mini-Christmas party where we provide a snack and/or meal, games, Christmas stories, and more! To be able to celebrate with each family from Happy Tummies, Abuelitos, Pastors, and Impacto workers, we need $15,000.
While gifting these 200+ families with Christmas baskets is not a major need it is a way to bring joy to their lives. Many families will have no special Christmas meal or gifts. It’s also a way we can share and show God’s love. And what better way to evangelize than through the Christmas story?! In the past we have had many come to know Christ during our Christmas Festival, so the gifts are just a way in for us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Each basket, eggs, and chicken will take US$55. Please help us raise the funds to bless these families at Christmas! As your friends, family, and church family to help!
