DECEMBER - GOODBYE 2024!

Jan. 31, 2025 by Impacto

Goodbye 2024! Hello 2025! Today we thank God for 2024. The good, the bad, the hard, the easy, the sorrow, and the joy. We understand everything was a part of His master plan and we believe we serve and love a sovereign God. As we prepare for the New Year, we pray that we continue to remember that He is a sovereign God.

As the year wraps up, we look back and think of all the things God did this year and feel humbled to have played a small part in His big plans. It would take pages and pages to share the ways we’ve seen God move, the miracles we have witnessed! We have seen many answered prayers and many, many surprises!

As we prepare and plan for 2025, we know God’s plans will not always match ours. But we pray that we will be flexible and allow Him to lead us. We are excited to serve Him full time in 2025. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during the past year. We are so grateful for each of you and we pray for you all daily. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

2025 is almost here, and I’m sure you have thought about your New Year’s resolution(s): better eating habits, finish college, a new car, a new house! Whatever your resolution I want to suggest something I found in Deuteronomy 6:5-9, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheadsWrite them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

I encourage you to not only love the Lord with all your heart and your strength, but to also share it with your children just as the scripture says. May your family, as a whole, grow in the Lord and His Word.

Happy and Blessed New Year!

Serving Christ together,

Pastor Luis
