How is it that February is half-way over?! We are not sure if it’s just us, but this year seems to be zooming by! Below we would love to share some Praises and Requests that February has brought.
PRAISES
- We praise God for the opportunity to have served some awesome teams this month! We have missed hosting teams so much and this month has been an awesome kickstart to getting back to hosting teams.
- We are so grateful to God for allowing us to plan for a new year of ministry. We have many great things planned, but we know God’s plans will exceed ours by miles!
- We are thankful for the start we’ve had this year. So many of our ministries are already flourishing. All four Happy Tummies locations are going full-throttle, Abuelitos are meeting, Stitches of Blessings has had their second class already (and made a beautiful tote bag), we’ve held sports camps, and have started back up with home visits. 2023 is going to be a great year, God willing.
- Praise be to God for we saw a number of people from a team come to Christ during one of Pastor Luis’ morning devotions. To God be the glory!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Please pray for the teams that will join us this year. We have over 30 teams scheduled for 2023 and a few who are looking at dates. Pray for their safety and for the blessings they will bring to the people of Guatemala. Pray that their focus will be to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with our community and that God will speak to their hearts as they serve Him.
- Pray for the plans Impacto has. Please pray that our plans align with God’s, that we will do His will, and that He will use Impacto for His honor and glory.
- We ask that you pray for all the ministries of which Impacto is a part. Pray that each ministry will be used to encourage God’s children and share with nonbelievers. We have said before, our number one focus is to share the Gospel and bring many souls to the Kingdom.
