Can you believe we are getting ready to start August?! This year just seems to be flying by. Our staff has been busy hosting teams and trainings; we have also spent a lot of time planning for the rest of 2021. Though we are working diligently we are often reminded that our plans are not God’s plans; and is 2020 not a good reminder of that?
As the year goes forward our prayer is that we stop relying on our plans but lay them at His feet and work meticulously as He makes His will known to us.

“So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace,
and in all other places.”
Philippians 1:13
My Bonds...Are Manifest
Have you heard the expression “being in the right place, at the right time, with the right person”? Have you thought that jail could be the right place and the right time? Paul talks about being in the right place at the right time speaking about jail; in Philippians 1:12-13 “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places.”
What does my “my bonds…are manifest” mean? The guards that watched Paul, heard the gospel every day. Every time there was a guard switch Paul would preach the gospel to them and many of them had accepted Christ as their Savior. In Philippians 4:22 “All God’s people here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.”
I want to ask you, are you at the right time and in the right place? Do your neighbors, friends, co-workers know that you are a Christian? Paul’s bonds were manifested in the right place and were used to shed light to many. I pray you do the same.
Construction at Xejuyu
We are so excited to see construction in Xejuyu (Shae-who-you) moving along. We are happy to say the first floor of the building is about 92% done! The pavilion is coming along wonderfully; we have the welders there this week. And we have begun building the first duplex!
We pray that everyone who steps foot in Xejuyu will experience God’s presence. This is a place that has been prayed for many, many times and we have no doubt it will be used to glorify God’s name. Our prayer is that Xejuyu will see many come to Christ, reconcile, make decisions to serve God, worship His name, restore marriages, break chains of addiction, and so much more!
Remember, if you would like to be a part of this effort you can donate towards our construction fund through our website or send checks to our PO Box listed in the footer on bottom. Thank you, we know God will use this place to further His Kingdom.
