IMPACTO PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS - AUGUST 2026

Aug. 15, 2026 by impacto

It’s hard to believe we are only one week away from closing our summer season. We once called summer our ‘busy season,’ but fall and winter/spring have also become sought-after times for teams. We are certainly not complaining; instead, we give God all the glory and praise as more people come to be His hands and feet!

Below, you’ll find praises and prayer requests. Please join us in lifting these requests to God and praising Him for all He has done.

Praises

  • We praise God as we are days from closing our summer season. We are so joyful knowing so much was done to bring glory to His name. We praise Him for He protected our teams, kept them safe, and gave everyone the strength and energy needed.
  • This summer, we saw many people come to Christ, relationships with Christ restored, and seeds of faith planted. We praise God for providing the people needed to offer local follow-up in most of these situations.
  • Every day, our team thanks God for each of you—for those who pray, donate resources, serve on teams, and lead. Your support means more to us than we can say, and we are deeply grateful to both God and you for faithfully answering His call. Thank you for believing in and supporting the work God has called Impacto to do.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.”
John 10:11-15

Prayer Requests

  • Please keep our entire team in your prayers as we wrap up the summer season. We’re catching up on the work that had to wait during these busy months while also preparing with excitement for our fall season, Zona Cero, and the Christmas Festival. We are so grateful for your prayers and support as we step into all that lies ahead!
  • Pray for provision for Zona Cero and the Christmas Festival please. Raising enough funds for these two ministry events is especially challenging. [All the pictures in this e-letter are from last year’s Zona Cero and Christmas Festival.]

Zona Cero

Over the years, Zona Cero has touched the lives of many young people. Today, we are grateful to see former participants—once teenagers themselves—serving as leaders in their churches and communities. We also see a new generation eager to grow, serve, and experience revival. With your help, we can reach these young people, prepare them for the challenges ahead, and walk alongside them as they grow in faith. After Zona Cero in November, many participants will stay connected with a camp counselor, attending pastor, executive team member, or supporter from the United States or Canada. Across the miles, we will continue to encourage, disciple, and pray for them.

We often hear that each generation is becoming more troubled—but what if, together, we could help write a different story? What if we could encourage this generation to become stronger in faith and draw closer to God? A life-changing journey can begin in just three days filled with meaningful encounters with God, biblical teaching, prayer, friendship, and plenty of fun.

Christmas Festival

Your support for the Christmas Festival can help bring a joyful Christmas to more than 200 families. Many of these families would otherwise be unable to enjoy a special nourishing meal on Christmas Day. With your generosity, each family can receive a basket filled with essential food staples—including beans, corn, oil, salt, and sugar—along with a Christmas treat, 30 fresh eggs, and a live chicken.

If you feel led to support either of these ministry events, we warmly invite you to join us. Your gift can help young people grow through Zona Cero and help families celebrate a brighter Christmas through the Christmas Festival. To learn how you can give, visit our donate page, where you can choose from the available giving options.
