And just like that we are done with the first month of 2022. To be honest we are not sure if it’s flying by or dragging on! As a staff we have been busy with meetings and planning for this year. We have been meeting with the president of our board, Chris Wagnon (pictured below with Pastor Luis). We have talked about accomplishments, changes, budget, hopes, and dreams; it has been a great month!
As we plan for 2022, we are reminded of how much we miss seeing you. Teams are such a big part of our ministry, for many reasons. The impact a team leaves behind lasts well past their departure.
The Lord would speak to Moses face to face,
as one speaks to a friend.
Exodus 33:11
Face to Face
Our staff set as a new year’s resolution to read the Bible in one year and I recently read Exodus 33:11 “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” It is so interesting and beautiful, the concept of prayer. You do not need to memorize prayers to be able to speak to God. It’s like speaking to your friend. If you haven’t had this experience, I encourage you to do so. Write one or five prayer requests on a piece of paper and stick it on a place where you will see them every day.
Remember what God’s Word says in Exodus “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” So remember, God is your friend and you can speak with Him as one.
God bless you.

Ministry Updates
January is our month to plan. We have begun Happy Tummies in-person in Zacapa and the City but here in the lake area we are still doing To Go. COVID regulations fluctuate in each area. The school year will begin on February 15 as it was delayed 1 month due to the pandemic. After school starts, we hope to be able to do Happy Tummies in person.
Likewise, planning is underway for Stitches of Blessings! We thought we would be able to purchase the 20 machines, however, we received news that the machines had more than doubled in price. For now, we bought 15 of the machines and are praying for the funds to be able to purchase the rest. We ask that you’d prayerfully consider supporting this ministry by donating to Compassion Ministries.
Planning is also taking place with our Nueva Vida pastors. It was a real treat and major blessing to have encouragement from visitors from Maryland and Alabama meet with some of the Nueva Vida pastors and boards. Many ministries are underway to see our churches grow. We are optimistically hoping and praying to see many souls won for Christ.
