JANUARY PRAISE & REQUEST - BIBLE INSTITUTE GRADUATION!

Jan. 15, 2023 by Impacto

Happy 2023! We want to start this year with one enormous praise!

On January 14 we celebrated our first Bible Institute graduation! Can you believe it? We are seeing the fruit of years of hard work!

Students at the Institute have the option of two achievements. One is a certificate of completion which means the student must attend a certain number of classes and participate in class. The other is an Associate’s Degree in Theology. This means more work as they have to be present in most classes, participate, complete homework, and take exams.

The wonderful part is that all our students will continue with classes. Those who are graduating will move forward to complete their Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Those who have not graduated will continue to work towards their Associate’s Degree.

The students, many of which are pastors, have expressed their gratitude for the Institute. They have expressed that their Bible knowledge has grown immensely and in effect their preaching has helped their congregation’s knowledge to flourish. Truly, the ripple effect of the Bible Institute reaches thousands of people. Thousands that we may never meet here on earth but one day know them all in Paradise.

“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?”

So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

Acts 8:31

This is the theme verse for our Bible Institute. God calls pastors and leaders to minister regardless of their education. However, we find the more knowledge of the Word that they have, the more they can share and bring others to Christ.

Thank you for your support,

Pastor Luis

As we only shared one praise, we also have one important request:

We are in need of $35,000 this year to operate the Bible Institute. We know the importance of the Institute, we know how many it has served, we’ve seen the effects and results, we do not want to shut it down. 2022 was a bit difficult on the economic side of the ministry, but it taught us to trust in God. It also taught us to be more vocal about our needs. $35,000 sounds like a lot, however, this covers a plethora of items. It covers the salary of 3 professors, internet for over 16 churches/meeting points, a set of books per trimester per student, computer upkeep, additional material, scholarships for over 165 students and much more.

Please join us in this effort as we work hard to edify the pastors and leaders who attend the Bible Institute.. The effect of 1 person having the correct knowledge, based on nothing but Biblical truth is far greater than any of us can imagine.
