KEEP POSITIVE, GOD IS IN CONTROL!

Aug. 15, 2021 by Impacto

August, so far, has given us hot humid days with some block-buster storms! However, God has given us an added portion of His grace and protection so all is well! Our prayer is that He has provided for each of you and your needs.

Below we share a few of our Praises and Requests with you. Please join us in lifting them in prayers of thanks and petitions.

Praises

  • During these difficult times we are learning more and more to be grateful in all circumstances. Though it has not been easy we praise God for the growth we have experienced as well as the growth we’ve seen in our workers and all those we minister to.
  • Stitches of Blessings is coming to an end for the year! We have the last class August 18! This is the group of ladies who began last year (2020) but were not able to continue due to the pandemic. We are so excited to give them their machines and see them get to work. We were planning a huge graduation party as we do every year, however due to the rise in COVID cases we will not be able to do that. Though we are saddened the women will not receive a big celebration we are also very happy they will be receiving their machines and certificates! The next couple of weeks we will be busy packing their goody bags, which include an iron, fabric, thread, needles, and other material they can use to help them get started!

“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory,

the One who lifts my head high.”

Psalm 3:3

Requests

  • With new COVID variants comes new fear. Join us in prayer as we ask God to send healing to the world. For comfort for those who have lost a loved one and for strength.
  • Join us in praying for wisdom. We are faced with daily decisions. Some concerning COVID, others about ministry in general, construction, and much more. It is hard to not feel frustrated and confused. The worst is when the enemy works very hard to make us second guess ourselves and the decisions we have made with the Lord’s guidance. Please keep for our entire staff lifted in your prayers.
  • Please pray with us that God will provide the funds for our Christmas festival this year. Like last year, we plan on making a big basket filled with essential food as well as nice Christmas treats. We would also like to give a snack and/or meal per festivity. While we plan to be able to celebrate with the community, it will still look different from years prior.
