OCTOBER - EVENTS & ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR LUIS

Oct. 31, 2024 by Impacto

WOW! October! What a wonderful month! We are so grateful to have been able to host close to 150 people for our Pastors and Leaders Congress. We had such a blessed time. There was so much learning, growing, and fellowship. It’s amazing how God uses His people to teach others in a loving and graceful manner. We are so blessed that for all our ministry events we have amazing Godly men and women who teach directly from His Word.

As we wind down a little from the Congress, we also are picking up speed to prepare for Zona Cero (youth camp). We are expecting a large group this year. Many of the pastors/leaders who were here this week mentioned bringing their youth groups in a few weeks. We are so excited and a little nervous as well. Will you be praying for us? In the past years we have seen many teens break free from sin and oppression and the enemy is not happy with that. Please pray for our staff/team to be emotionally, physically, and spiritually prepared to be used by God.

Do you realize how fast time flies by, and in the blink of an eye, we are in November! It’s a month where we celebrate a very special and anticipated day for many families, Thanksgiving Day.

1 Thesalonians 5:18 says: “Give thanks in all circumstances.” The phrase “in all” means exactly that, in all circumstances. Give thanks in the good days, in the bad days, night and day we must do so, because this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus. There is a Psalm that gives us a list of reason as to why we must be thankful. Possibly, a thanksgiving that goes beyond the salary that we earn, the house that we live in, or the car that we drive. This thanksgiving attitude is based on much bigger values that we find in Psalm 103 says: “Praise the Lord oh my soul”, meaning, “give thanks to the Lord oh my soul”… and forget not all his benefits.

Many greater benefits we receive from the Lord can be found in this Psalm:  He is who forgives your sins and heals all your diseases, he is who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things, He who works righteousness and justice, and has made his ways known to us.

I challenge you to spend a few minutes of your day, every day, to give thanks to God; not only in November or just on Thanksgiving Day, but every day of your life. Let’s not take Him for granted, God is good.

Serving Christ together,

Pastor Luis
