APRIL - PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS

April 15, 2024 by Impacto

Hello April, it’s so good to see you! April has been a very busy month, we have not had any teams, but our staff and workers are playing catch up whilst also planning for our busy summer months. With that being said, here are a few praises and a couple requests we ask that you bring into your daily prayers.

PRAISES

  • We praise God for an awesome first months of the year. Our hearts are still in a place of praise and worship as we think of all the Lord has done in 2024. We have seen so many miracles, so many coming to Christ, so many reconciliating, so many seeds planted! Woo! It just gets us all pumped and ready to continue working hard for Him.
  • Join us in praising God for a full summer! We are so excited to be hosting teams in June, July, and August! We know that God will do wonderful and marvelous things through each team.
  • Praise God for we have over 100 students in our Bible Institute. We have heard many testimonies from students, one of the most frequent is the confidence some Pastors and laymen have gained to stand in front of their congregation and teach with the knowledge they have gained from the Institute.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”
and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and
are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10 [NIV]

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • We ask that you please pray for San Juan la Laguna, the town where we live. One week ago, our mayor passed away unexpectedly. It has hit the town hard as he was loved and known by many. As this is a small town, everyone here saw him grow up, went to school with him, worked with him, and lived day-to-day life with him. Needless to say, our town has been left grieving. Please help us pray. Pray for town, for those who worked closely with him, and of course for his family. Pray that everyone will draw closer to God during this time and that God will be the pillar of San Juan la Laguna.
  • We are asking for your prayers and donations for our upcoming Bible Conference. We could have anywhere from 100-200 pastors, pastor wives, laymen, laywomen, new Christians, and non-believers at this Conference. We have a wonderful team from Riverview Baptist Church working on raising funds for this event and our hope is to help with this as much as we can. We need a total of US$20,000 to be able to host the conference, providing lodging, meals, material, etc. We ask that you prayerfully consider donating towards the conference, as it is our chance to fill the cups of those who are constantly filling everyone else’s.
