It seems mind-boggling that we are already done with the first half of 2026! These 6 months have both flown by and felt like 4 years!
In June, we have had the privilege of hosting 7 different teams and each one has been a special blessing. Each team has had the privilege to reap harvest and plant seeds. It always leaves us feeling amazed at all a team can accomplish in just one week. It truly just goes to show how God can work wonders in such a small period of time. In the last month we have seen many make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, repent of their sins, and decide to follow Him and His Word. We have seen others who wanted to hear nothing about God start to ask more questions and have doubts about their unbelief.
This month we also have seen a solid growth in the spiritual life of our Happy Tummies kids! The Abuelitos are growing in their walk with God and we have seen a growth in numbers as well. We now have 29 Abuelitos and 65 kids in our San Juan ministry alone! God is good and faithful; we are mere tools in His plans.

“…Such things must happen…” — Matthew 24:6b
In the last few days, we have heard about the great tragedy in Venezuela. More than 2,000 people have died and more than 60,000 people are still missing. I find it interesting that in less than 24 hours there were seven earthquakes in three different continents. This made me think of the passage in Matthew 24:3–8:
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
Further on it says in verse 46: “It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.”
I believe we are in the last days. Jesus is coming soon! I would like to invite you to join me in doing good, so that when He comes for us, He will find us doing good. Let us pray for Venezuela and pray for those who are suffering around the world.
God bless.
Serving Christ together,
Pastor Luis
