IMPACTO PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS - AUGUST 2024

Aug. 15, 2024 by Impacto

Hi friends! After a summer full of teams we can’t help but dream about heaven. If we had a blast working side-by-side and praising God with so many of you, can you imagine what heaven will be like? A place where we get to stand together and join in efforts as we praise our God for eternity?! Oh! It will be wonderful! But, as we patiently wait for Him to take us home here are some praises and requests we’d like to share with you.

PRAISES

  • We praise God for allowing us to wrap up another year of Stitches of Blessings! This year we ended a little early because, 1) we started early and 2) we wanted the women to have their machines for September as the 14th is Guatemala’s Independence Day and there are lots of opportunities work using their machines. We had many teams bring projects this summer, which gave the women many chances to practice and learn skills on their machines. We pray that each woman will be able to use their machines and skills to honor God.
  • Our hearts are full of praise as we will soon wrap up our summer season. It is for sure one of our busiest times of the year, but the blessings, the encouragement, the love we receive from each team member nurtures our hearts. Not to mention the wonderful things they do for the community!
  • Many teams that were here in the last few weeks have already reached out for 2025 dates. It’s humbling to know that you continue to believe and support the ministry that God has called us to do. If you want to book a team for 2025, simply email Andrea at [email protected]. We would love to serve alongside you here in Guatemala!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever."

Psalm 136:1

If you can find the time I encourage you to read the entire chapter!
